Nicola’s fascination with dogs began in her early years, when she found herself engrossed in books on dog behaviour, and happily training her family dogs, Fluffy and Sandy. Today she shares her life with Marvin, a rescue pup who’s taught her so much about dogs, and also herself. He’s not just her dog; he’s also her muse, and his ears even make a cameo in her logo!

After spending 2 decades navigating the corporate world, Nicola felt a calling to explore her creative side. Photography quickly stole her heart, and provided her with a new way to express her love of dogs!

What truly ignites her passion in dog photography is capturing the individuality of each pup. Whether they’re calm and collected or bursting with energy (like Marvin!), she revels in the challenge of capturing their essence through her lens.

As well as creating dog portraits, she loves capturing the profound bond between dogs and their human companions. That’s why she gladly accepts commissions for fur family portraits, because there’s something truly magical about immortalising that special connection.
